    Recreational domain/playground

  • This recreation area covers 50 ha and takes its name from the 'lunette', part of the 19th century defensive perimeter around the city.
  • The domain has an outdoor swimming pool complete with slides and a water playground on a white sandy beach.
  • There are playgrounds for children of all ages and the playground at the entrance is accessible to children with a handicap.
  • Be sure to discover the sports facilities on the domain too: tennis and fishing.
  • The outdoor fitness installation is unique in Flanders.
  • There is also a course for team-building activities on the domain.
  • The visitor's centre is a great base to start a walk through the nature reserve known as Webbekoms Broek.
  • The provincial domain is also accessible to wheelchair users.
  • Tickets for the pool must be reserved in advance through this link: https://halvemaandiest.ticketing.vlaamsbrabant.be/Tickets.aspx. Payment is also done online at reservation.
