  Bertembos walk

  The Bertembos and Eikenbos total 155 hectares of forests. The Bertembos walk will take you through this gorgeous landscape and past Bertem’s highest point, 92.5 metres above sea level. Don’t forget to stop and admire the wood anemones in the spring.

  Margijs walk

  This walk takes you out and about through the valleys of the Dijle and the IJse, a patchwork of small fields and wetland forest, brushwood and reed beds, ponds and ditches. The route goes to the Margijs wood, where some slopes of beautiful bluebells can be found in the spring.

  The Majestic Oak Walk

  Walk through the Sonian Forest between Hoeilaart and Sint-Genesius-Rode, past sometimes very old and surprising trees. On one of the forest roads, you come across a summer oak that is up to 300 years old, hence the name of this walk.
