  • The 75 km long cycle route is dedicated to the Big Bang and its founder, Georges Lemaître.
  • The Lemaître statues in both cities mark the start and finish of the route.
  • There are eight places to stop for a rest along the way. Each of these has been marked with a QR code. Scan the code to discover interesting facts about Georges Lemaître, the Big Bang and how our universe has evolved.
  • You can also cycle the single route of 37 km, in Leuven or Louvain-la-Neuve you can easily get on the train with your bike.
