  • Start your journey from Meldert's Sint-Ermelindis Church through the Mene and Jordaan Valley to Hoksem.
  • Be sure to pull on a pair of wellies when visiting this nature reserve.
  • The Carolus Farmhouse, with its gatehouse and dovecote, is a stop along your way – and happens to be one of the region’s loveliest farmhouses.
  • Another unique site on this route is Meldert's Donjon, built from a white mix of lime and sandstone from the Gobertange.
