  • Your walk begins approximately a hundred metres from the Herman Teirlinck House, the listed building where the renowned Belgian writer spent the last 30 years of his life.
  • As you stroll through the hilly countryside, it’s impossible not to be awed by the gorgeous vistas of valleys, the Pajottenland, and the Brussels skyline.
  • The Oud Beersel Brewery is on your way. Book a guided tour and tasting (Saturday, 12 pm) in advance, or knock back a geuze in their authentic alehouse.
  • This walk goes perfectly with a Beersel Castle visit. Or you could try a second geuze at the 3 Fonteinen Brewer’s Lambik-O-droom, just a little further on.
