  • The Antitank Trench and the nearby Haachts Marsh are a lovely area to walk, punctuated by small bridges and corduroy roads. Walking here makes you feel like you could wander aimlessly for hours.
  • The trench once intended to halt German tanks now teems with aquatic life.
  • From time to time, you'll come across a herd of large herbivores during the walk, munching away and creating the wide open spaces that sun-worshippers, such as butterflies and other insects, love to frequent.
