  • If you’re lucky enough to be in time, the Groot-Bijgaarden castle is an absolute must. For most of the month of April, during ‘Floralia Brussels’, the castle blossoms into a floral wonderland of over a million flowers. It’s the only time of year that the castle is open to the public.
  • To see a sea of living colour, visit Groenenberg Park and explore its precious collections of daffodils, azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas and camellias.
  • Cycle your way through Sint-Pieters-Leeuw and stop by the Coloma Rose Garden, famous the world over for its massive collection of roses of every colour, kind and origin.
