  • Route of 77 km with 710 metres of elevation
  • This route is partly on unpaved roads: 44 km unpaved, 15 km low-traffic concrete tracks, 6 km cobblestones, 12 km asphalt. 
  • Ride through the heart of the Brabantse Wouden National Park on the trail of the European & Belgian Gravel Championships 2023. 
  • The route follows 97% of the race route that riders will cover on 1 October 2023. For the sake of safety and the current accessibility rules, only a few zones have been adapted.
  • Departure at the Zoet Water in Oud-Heverlee. 
  • Disappear for a while among the trees of the Meerdaalwoud, climb over cobblestones and then make headway on gravel roads through open fields. 
  • You will pass through beautiful but fragile natural areas. Leave no trace behind and take your rubbish home with you. 
  • With this route you will be a guest in the Brabantse Wouden with the beautiful nature reserves. Respect nature and people enjoying other leisure activities. Give priority to walkers, runners and people on horseback and moderate your speed where necessary. 
  • This route was created in cooperation with the municipality of Oud-Heverlee, the Agency for Nature and Forest and Golazo.
